PENG Survey

Sean White, Clinical Lead HETF (joint)

We will be shortly sending out a survey to you all as PENG members asking about your views on outcome measures specific to our areas of clinical practice. The responses will help inform how we as PENG can further support you as members in collecting and reporting on an agreed set of outcome measures to demonstrate our effectiveness and producing some guidance.

The NNNG Conference

Ailsa Kennedy, Clinical Lead HETF (joint)

PENG supported/presence at the NNNG annual conference this year on the 7th and 8th of July in Warwickshire. Ailsa Kennedy presented the dietetic perspective as part of the Liquid Feed Symposium, which concluded with an interesting debate. The topic continues to gain interest and practice appears to be increasing, watch this space...! PENG would recommend supporting a patient informed choice by engaging in risk assessment. We would encourage any dietitian to complete the process via the following link: www.peng.org.uk/publications-resources/resources-for-hcps.php. Support your patient but protect your registration!
