PENG ESPEN Award 2026

Have you completed an audit or research project related to nutrition support?

Would you like the opportunity to present your work at the 48th ESPEN Congress in Berlin, Germany (5-8th September 2026)?

PENG are offering an exciting opportunity for a PENG member to win an educational grant of £1,500 to support the costs of conference registration, accommodation, and travel to ESPEN 2026!

How to apply

1. Submit your ESPEN abstract via this link Call for Abstracts | ESPEN 2026 Congress
2. Email a copy of your submitted abstract to peng@bda.uk.com clearly marked “ESPEN AWARD 2026”.

Closing date: Wednesday 8th April 2026

What happens next?

• The winner will be notified by 1st May 2026 and announced via our PENG communication channels
• Following attendance at ESPEN the winner will be invited to write a short summary of their conference experience for ePENlines and to present their abstract at a PENG webinar
• All applicants will receive a response and feedback from the PENG research officer

• Abstracts that have previously won a PENG award are not eligible
• Previous winners of the ESPEN award are ineligible to apply again for three years following their award
